MY STORY


ALBERTO MORIONDO 

Alberto has over 25 years of strategy, product marketing and business development experience, including over 15 years connecting brands and consumers through mobile devices and interactive marketing programs.   

In 2012, Alberto established Alameda Holdings, LLC to advise corporate clients on innovation and how to engage with the startup ecosystem, as well as to invest in early stage start-ups focusing on mobile, cloud and digital technologies (see portfolio companies). Alberto is also a Mentor at 1871, the premier Chicago innovation hub, and 500 Startups Latin America.

Prior to that, Alberto served in a senior management capacity at Tribal Brands, a digital and entertainment marketing agency, where he played a critical role helping Fortune 100 companies use mobile and content marketing strategies to engage consumers in conversations they wanted to be part of.  In 2008, he co-founded Tribal Technologies, a Silicon Valley mobile marketing and analytics platform enabling brands to establish 1:1 relationships with consumers via mobile.  

Back in 2001, Alberto was hired by Motorola to incubate and lead the development of Motorola’s global content and applications team focusing on the entertainment market. In that capacity, he was responsible for envisioning and executing Motorola’s mobile music, video and gaming strategy, as well as the applications and content preload strategy working closely with mobile operators worldwide. 

A native of Italy and raised in Argentina, Alberto started his career as a strategist at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in Buenos Aires, and subsequently worked for a number of multinationals including FMC Corporation and Lucent Technologies. He holds a BS in Economics from Universidad Católica Argentina and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
